Overview Total War Rome II:
Total War Rome allows you to play the role of one of the three great houses of Roman of the time namely, the Julii, Brutii, or Scipii. Your main objective in the game is to conquer the overall fifty provinces. However, you have to gain support from the people before conquering Rome. To do this you have to play a short game, in which it is essential for the player to control fifteen provinces while you also have to outlast certain factions. As you made progress through the game, the new factions will automatically be unlocked for you. Each faction has different objectives and provinces under its control.

The control of the province is given to the faction whose army occupies the province's city. There are a variety of buildings in the cities which can be controlled and upgraded such as temples, markets, walls, barracks, stables, and military units. Controlling more cities will provide you with certain geographical dominance and greater tax income. However, large cities are a bit difficult for you to control. The 3D real-time tactical battle represents the other half of the game.
The strategical, as well as tactical modes of the game, will combine and represents the landscape for the battle. | tag [] | Switch tag to another country. All countries have a numeric tag and an alpha-numeric tag. Either will work. |
| tech [] | Gives tech levels. Amount is optional, not specifying the amount gives 1 tech level. Does not unlock inventions and may make it impossible to do so. Not advised. Negative value will decrease tech instead |
